ABCe Certificates


All ABCe data is shown on an ABCe certificate. The certificates show total qualifying worldwide traffic, a list of the principal domains included in the audit, daily Unique User/Browser figures as well as any other metrics the owner has chosen to have audited.

Unlike ABC certificates, media owners can choose whether or not to have their ABCe certificate made public. All public ABCe certificates can be viewed on the data area of this website.

ABCe Kitemark

ABCe kitemarkOnly sites that have published an ABCe Certificate are allowed to display a kitemark.  It is an industry recognized stamp of trust.  The kitemark also includes the date of the last certification period so you can see at a glance how recently the site was certified.

Group Product Reports


Group Product ReportAn ABC Group Product Report allows media owners to report various audited products in one place. This demonstrates a media owner’s portfolio across all platforms including online, print or face to face.

Multi-Platform Reports


The majority of national newspapers report their monthly online and print figures together in the ABC Multi-platform Report. This is used by owners, buyers (and journalists) to provide a round up of media performance in this sector.

IASH (Internet Advertising Sales House)


IASHIASH was set up to promote best practice amongst internet advertising sales houses through the adoption of an effective code of conduct.

ABCe provides a rigorous audit to help ensure that all IASH members meet and continue to adhere to key elements of this code.

Emerging platforms

 

With the converging media landscape, ABCe is also involved in the development of standards and measurement of multi-media channels such as mobile and IPTV.

BMWG (Broadband Measurement Working Group)



The BMWG exists to progress the development and delivery of an industry-agreed standard for the measurement and reporting of IPTV. The current BMWG constituents are: ABCe, BBC, BSkyB, Channel 4, IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising), ITV and Virgin Media with BARB (Broadcasters’ Audience Research Board) as observers.
