Cyber Essentials is a cyber security standard that organisations can be assessed and certified against. The scheme is designed to help protect organisations, whatever their size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.
The Certification process involves a variety of different checks being conducted, including for example ensuring that we have effective user access controls on all ABC computers, a secure internet access policy and secure external intrusion prevention systems.
Achieving our Cyber Essential Certification delivers:
- Reassurance to customers that we take cyber security seriously
- A listing on the Directory of compliant organisations, found on the National Cyber Security Centre: https://www.cyberessentials.ncsc.gov.uk/cert-search/
- A promise to our stakeholders that we have cyber security measures in place
