03/11/2017 - CLIENT PRESS RELEASE
Today Widespace has received the JICWEBS Seal of Compliance, as verified by independent auditor ABC, demonstrating that it has met the JICWEBS Good Practice Principles for reducing the risk of exposure to ad fraud.
Widespace’s Widespace, the provider of technology to build brands in a mobile world, offers a full stack programmatic solution, Summit, that’s native to mobile and designed for buyers who value creativity, quality and brand safety. Widespace’s Summit platform enables the targeting of users across the whole mobile ecosystem and not just parts of it – i.e. environments that offer cookie targeting – with smart brand interest profiling of the user based on historical data and previous brand preferences.
The JICWEBS Principles are industry-approved guidelines against which media buyers, publishers or intermediaries can be verified to confirm their processes minimise the risk of exposure to traffic fraud. The aim of the Principles, and ABC’s anti ad-fraud verification programme, is to promote confidence in the industry by demonstrating that companies like Widespace are providing targeted protection against the risk of ad fraud.
Joy Dean, Director Partnerships and Platform Sales, Widespace comments: “We are thrilled to receive the JICWEBS Seal following verification by ABC. We feel confident that we are offering our clients quality traffic that is both fraud free and viewable, and are pleased to now achieve this third party verification through our compliance with the JICWEBS Anti-fraud Principles.
