Reporting Standards
Latest updates
April 2022
-
These consolidated Reporting Standards bring together previous Standards for Business Events, Consumer Events, Digital Events and the Event Audience metric.
-
They provide a clearer and simpler offering, giving you greater flexibility to report a single total attendance figure for in-person, online and hybrid events.
-
In-person: An event taking place in a physical location.
-
Online: an event delivered online, e.g. virtual events, webinars.
-
Hybrid: An event comprising both in-person and online components under the same/similar brand.
-
-
Attendance can be claimed once for each person attending the event.
-
Additional information, metrics and breakouts may be reported as an option. Examples include Description of products/services/exhibitors, visitor/exhibitor breakout, repeat attendance.
-
For a hybrid event, you:
-
Must report the attendance figure for both the in-person and online component.
-
May opt to also report a combined total across both components, providing attendees of both are counted once (i.e. de-duplicated).
-
-
The new Reporting Standards will allow those events currently reporting under Business Events or Digital Events to continue with their existing reporting.
