Delivering a Stamp of Trust for the Media Industry

ABC launches online learning course for media buyers and planners

Online Learning

24/05/2017

ABC is pleased to announce the launch of its first online learning course for media buyers and planners

ABC online courses have been created to make ABC data training quick, easy and enjoyable. Freely available to media buyers and planners, each course will help learners gain a greater understanding about why ABC data is trusted by the industry, and how it can be used to guide trading decisions across print & digital media.

The training topics have been split into short, interactive modules that take around 20 - 30 minutes to complete. This enables learners to fit the training into their busy day and get the most from each course, as well as topping up their CPD hours.

ABC online learning is ideal for both newcomers to the advertising industry and those who want an update on ABC’s latest products, services and data.

The first module, ‘Introduction to ABC’ is available now. This course provides an overview of ABC’s role within the industry, including:

Why ABC data is valuable

How and why ABC sets industry standards

The different ways you can view ABC data

Why it's important to ask media owners for the ABC 'stamp of trust' when trading

Those interested can trial the Introduction to ABC demo.

More to come…

The second online learning module is currently in development. Scheduled for release later this year, this course will focus on helping learners understand ABC's media measurement categories and how to access more detailed data.

A digital ad trading module is also planned for release towards the end of the year, showing how the ABC stamp of trust can guide those looking to minimise the effects of ad fraud while maximising brand safety and viewability.
